This wedding season promises to be a sparkling one for brides and grooms across Australia. Some fun new trends have emerged that Aussie couples can take hold of and really make their own. We've found three themes that are easy to pull together and will give your wedding the wow it needs.

1. Nautical

Nautical Table Setting

The nautical look was on the rise for weddings in 2014 and the decor ideas only get bigger and better into 2015. Think striped linens, hanging crab pots, and navy blue paired with crisp white and splash of red.

When it comes to the fine details to carry the theme, a simple navy striped bow around a bouquet or nautical navy for the bridesmaid dresses. If you want to work it into your own bridal gown, consider an elegant sash around the middle, a navy clip or hairpiece, or a bouquet of beautiful blue flowers.

You don't necessarily need to have nautical navy stipes to have a nautical theme.  White and silvery tones with a little pale sea green can look stunning.  Mix silvery sea green foliage and white flowers on the table, along with plenty of crystal stemware. Then hang a few crab pots filled with candles and foliage for a subtle yet stunning nautically inspired wedding day.
