The Honeymoon
In the times of Marriage Without Consent, the husband-to-be did not always have full cooperation from his future wife.
Folklore has it that the groom would kidnap the bride for the month before the full moon, at which time they would drink a potent blend of honey brew.
It was this brew that cemented the term honeymoon into the language of marriage.
Nowadays, the honeymoon is a time when the newlyweds share their first holiday together as husband and wife, it is a time of celebration...and a well deserved break!!
