Wedding Cake - $925
Buy a beautiful wedding cake that fits within your budget and will look fantastic on display even if it doesn't feed all your wedding guests. The trick is to include a slab of cake with the same filling that can be cut up and served as wedding cake...your guests will be none the wiser and essentially it's still wedding cake!
The Dahlia wedding cake from Sweet Art is around $800 and serves 170 coffee portions so there's plenty of cake for everyone.
Wedding Reception $14,000
Mansion Hotel & Spa offers a wedding package for $140 per person. Whilst our budget allowed for only $13,990 we had $125 left over from the wedding photographer and were able to make the difference up here.
Wedding Ceremony Venue - $750
Wedding ceremonies can be held on location at the Mansion Hotel & Spa for $750 for a basic ceremony package.
Wedding night and night before accommodation - $418
By staying at or near your wedding reception venue you can eliminate other costs such as wedding transport. You could use that extra budget towards the extra nights accommodation at the venue. Or a nice idea is to provide a hire car for your parents or grandparents to transport them to the wedding.
Honeymoon - $6,134
