The hottest seats at the wedding can also bring about the most fiery discussions. You as a couple need to decide first, do you have your attendants and parents seated with you at the wedding reception, just your attendants or perhaps just the two of you want to take up the thrones alone.

If you are having your bridal party only at the bridal table then ensure your parents are seated at the table or tables closest to bride and groom.

The parents of the bride and groom don't have to sit at the same table. The may prefer to sit at a separate table with other family members and friends.

Wedding Tip:

When you seat your parents at their own table allow them decide who they'd like to have share their table, and consider your siblings and who they'd like to sit with.

The perfect place for the bridal table is one where all your wedding guests can see the bride and groom. If your wedding reception venue is the size of two football fields then have the bridal table on a slightly raised platform.

Bridal tables aren't always long and rectangular where the couple face their wedding guests. Depending on personal preference and space some couples choose to sit at a round table - although your wedding guests won't be please, it is harder to see the bride and groom at a round table.
