Wedding Venue : The Tea Room QVB
Ceremony Location : St Phillips Church, Sydney
This wedding, in colours red, white and blue, was held in Sydney. The wedding ceremony took place at the magnificent St Phillips church in Sydney's CBD. It's a grand church with a beautifully tiled aisle and amazing stained glass windows that fill you with a sense of awe the minute you enter it's doors.
The reception venue was held just up the road at The Tearoom QVB nestled privately on the third floor, I love this room, it's elegantly decorated and oozes grace and charm, perfect for a formal wedding.
Jacqueline's gown was beautiful. The detailing and fabrics epitomises all the prettiness and femininity of a classic wedding dress and the gorgeous hand sewn flowers that drape across her shoulder was enough to give it a chic modern twist and make her stand out as the bride. The bridesmaids in black perfectly complemented her whole wedding look.
Sometimes the bride can fade into the whole scene at large weddings that are full of colour and decoration, swamped by bridesmaids so it's good to do something a little dramatic with the dress so you do stand out as the bride.
I have heard from so many brides that the one regret they had was that they didn't wear the veil or the strapless dress was too simple against the guests gorgeous gowns. So really think about your wedding as a whole when you choose your dress....and if you are saying no to the veil, pack it just in case, because you may change your mind.
